Today my little lad is 2 and a half and Lucy's kindy has allowed him to start earlier which is great for him who is keen as beans, great for Lucy that she will have 6 months to show him the ropes before starting at school and lets not forget, great for me with baby number 3 arriving in a couple of months and some serious 'nesting' at home yet to be done.
Look at them, when did they get so big?
Walking up the ramp, I think it finally dawned on him what going to kindy was going to involve, his pace slowed, the smile faded....
But it wasn't long before he was in to it. Today Mum wasn't going to drag him away and the toys were all his, as was his big sister who told everyone who would listen that today was her little brother's first day.
He's got some things to learn, like sitting still on the mat, lining up and sharing the trains but it's day 1. Early days right!
