A few weekends ago my friend Lea who is a photographer did a photo shoot with our family. It was so I could put together a photo on our christmas card this year complete with address and contact details, yada yada yada you know the drill.
The photos came up great and I am so pleased. Also so pleased that there is no audio with the photos because as anyone with young children know, trying to get everyone to smile at the same time is near impossible. So in the background you had Marcus threatening smacks every 5 minutes, Lea using her power of persuasion and skill, me bribing with ice-cream and the kids generally running riot wanting to jump in the stream while the minutes left of daylight were ticking away.
BUT.....when you look at the photos you don't see any of that. It actually looks like we are having so much fun and laughter which is how family photos should be right? The better version of us. The one without audio.
Anyway as I'm sorting through the C.D. tonight I'm laughing out loud at some of the blooper shots. I said to Marcus that I just want to put captions on some of them.
So because these one's aren't going to make it to the christmas card short list, I thought I'd share them with you on here. Feel free to caption away!

| Nate making Lion noises, Olli scratching his bum, and Lucy with her plastic totally over it smile. |
| Photo bombed by some special person. You see it wasn't just the kids running riot. |
| This looked so great on pinterest. The reality was the kids just wanted to build a hut. That's my "Ok Lea, this isn't going to work" face. |
| Shampoo advertisement anybody? |
| This looks like I am trying to draw him back with my invisible rope. Lucy is doing great! |
| My favourite in this one is Marcus, being special again. |
| More whirling with my invisible rope. This time I'm using it to spin Olli. |
| Me telling Marcus to think happy thoughts. |
| Just not those happy thoughts Babe. Lets leave Lea to capture the star gazing lovers in engagement shoots. |
Thats awesome Anna! Your invisable rope makes me think of Wonder Woman with her magic lasso and invisible jet. You've combined the two. An invisble jet seems fairly pointless anyway, everyone will be able to see you sitting in it which would give the show away. An invisable magic lasso though, now there is a parenting tool you can use!
ReplyDeleteLove your dress too!
I love these because they are so real life and probably how you remember the photoshoot!
