Look what I had to dig out of the garage and put up today. (Answer is the 'highchair' thank you people, not the baby.) Seems our little 5 month old is well and truly onto solids. No more just a wee lick off a spoon, it's 3 meals a day thank you mama.
Over the last couple of weeks he has sampled banana's, baby rice, avocado, apple and pumpkin and has greatly accepted all offerings. I held off as long as I could because I know the mess factor from here on out just increased 10 fold and I was kinda enjoying my little breastfed baby and the fact I could still use my handbag as a nappy bag. (Provided that my milk jugs and I were accompanying him of course.)
But now it means bulk cook ups, bulk freeze ups, little containers and baby spoons, copious amounts of facecloths and bibs, changing my clothes at least twice a day due to flickage and lets not forget the change that occurs in the nappy department.
Good bye my easy little new born and hello to the toddler years.

Love the new header and thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - I'm a fidget, I just can't leave my header alone for more than a few months!
