I know this milestone is only really interesting to me but for the record, Nathan was 9 months old yesterday which means he has been officially growing out of my belly longer than he was growing in it. (weighing in at hearty 10.48kg thank the Lord he's not still in it.)
This 9 months has gone so fast and I still feel like I am getting to know him. He is such a combination of not just Marcus and I but of his siblings, his uncle, his grandfather, everyday he looks like someone different.
I found these pictures of his brother and sister at 9 months to see if he resembled either of them. I'm leaning towards Lucy more but what do you think? Pretty cute to see that at 9 months they all only have 2 bottom teeth to show off in those big gummy mouths.
Then there is me over the space of 5 and a half years holding each of them at 9 months and I hardly recognise the girl with Lucy. I say girl because I can't see one grey hair or wrinkle in that first photo and while it's true I look older, most of the growing up from me has been on the inside. Oh what I have learnt, oh the wisdom gained, oh how I want to grab those cheeks of mine, squeeze them and say
"you don't know what tired is yet girlie, just you wait!"
p.s Thanks Jenny for the blog tutorial. I've spent the afternoon playing with Pic Monkey can you tell? :)
