Thursday's are a home day and after 3 full days at kindy the kids are ready to just hang at home. Today Lucy and Ollie built a ship hut by the front door. Building huts is one time that they seem to be able to work/play together really nicely. Because of this, we build lots of huts.
So while they were fighting pirates on their ship, Nate was hanging out on the new quilt that he got sent today by a dear friend in America. It's beautiful and as someone who has never made a quilt I appreciate all the time that has gone into it.
Tomorrow we have friends and family arriving for Art Deco weekend. May the dressing up begin!
Yay! Dressing up and huts! We made heaps of huts when I was a kid (both inside and out) ... sometimes we were allowed to keep our inside ones up for a couple of days and even sleep in them overnight! Love the quilt too - gorgeous! Sorry we didn't catch up today, but will have to soon :) ... Might even see you at Art Deco (if we recognise each other!)
