My how we've grown

Our antenatal class met this evening for our annual catch up.  We still try to met up every few weeks or so although 5 years and 12 kids later it is getting tricky. I love these girls. I still remember the first night we met at the Parent Centre. This group of strangers who I felt I had nothing in common with except this big bump in our bellies. We journeyed through first time motherhood together, though the labour and birth stories, through the breastfeeding hardships, through returning to work and juggling daycare, through relationships ups and downs, through 2nd babies and 3rd babies and now school decisions. They have become some of my closest friends. It hasn't been just our babies that have grown. Look at us ladies and all that wisdom oozing from us that only comes through experience. These 5 years have made us wise.
