Visit from my bridesmaid

Amie was my bridesmaid and I hers and we have been friends since we were 10. She is like a sister to me and although we hardly see each other these days with her been in Hamilton and us been here, when we do meet up the time is precious.

With Marcus been away Amie and her beautiful family braved the 4 hour drive and came to stay the weekend to see Nate and to help me out.

And help they did from the moment they arrived till the moment they left. From bringing ready made meals to hanging washing to juggling 4 preschoolers to burping the baby to doing dishes, serving up meals, taking the kids swimming, making cups of tea, fixing our Internet connection, posing for photographs and coming with an arm full of chocolate. Amie and Blair are servant hearts and I heart them for it.
Walk to Cornwall Park. (4 preschoolers, 1 bike, 2 scooters, 1 baby in pram, 1 dog on lead, 3 adults in need of one of Marcus' morning coffees. )

Amie stocking the pantry with her baking just like our flatting days at University.

Hot pools in Napier

Looks like we are raising the next generation of besties.
2 year olds- Oliver sand Daniel

4 year olds- Emma and Lucy

The weekend was full of gorgeous moments like these:
Storytime

Farmer's market

bed time prep.

And Ollie was in heaven having a real life fireman in the house for a few days. Think he was a tad disappointed that Blair didn't sleep in full fireman uniform.

And look how good you guys look with a third baby. See it's not chaos at all. (wink :)
