When we were pregnant with him, Marcus and I prayed for a baby with a quiet, gentle spirit. kind of as a joke at first because our other two children were so loud and forthright. But then as we were looking at names, we'd always check the meaning to see if ones we liked had meanings along the lines of "kind and peaceful soul."
We ended up deciding on Nathan which is Hebrew for Gift of God.
And he is such a precious Gift from God. I almost hate to jinx it but so far he is proving to be that quiet peaceful gentle soul that we prayed for. I am reminded every time I kiss that fussy little head that our God is sovereign and knew exactly what he was doing when he gifted us Nate.
P.s. I do realise that Oliver been toilet trained warrants a post in itself which I will do, but until then I bet you 5 bucks you couldn't look at that last photo and not smile back. He's contagious!
how is it even possible that he just keeps getting cuter and cuter???
